“A house is no home unless it contain food and fire for the mind as well as for the body.”
-Margaret Fuller (1845)
A home is more than a place of shelter. It is a place of comfort, a place of peace. This is where we can take refuge from the world, where we can relax, and where we can grow. A home can be a “safe environment” where we can learn without fear of criticism, and where we can explore and express our feelings. The person, or people, inside that space is what makes a house a home.
