“ We should conduct ourselves not as if we ought to live for the body, but as if we could not live without it.”
-Seneca the Younger (5? BC – AD 65)
There is a kind of mindfulness that we need to observe when taking care of the body. We need to exercise, but not overdo. We need to eat properly, but not too much. This is a precious package that is ours to take care of. And when we take care of the body, it takes care of us. We all have this in common. We may look so different on the outside – different shapes, sizes, colors, ages, whatever. But on the inside– it’s all the same basic equipment. What makes us “tick” is all the same “stuff.”
