“Home, home on the range,
Where the deer and the antelope play;
Where seldom is heard a discouraging word,
And the skies are not cloudy all day.”
-Brewster Higley (19th cent, 1873?)
This is where we live; this is our home. Wherever we are, wherever we go, this planet is ours to enjoy and take care of. All of nature calls for us to notice. Whether we sleep under a roof or under a canopy of stars, we live here together – with the animals and trees and all of creation.
