The only way to truly give is to give without expectation. And that includes any expectation of gratitude! We may not see, or hear, the immediate results of our giving, but the universe does. Whatever we give is ultimately a gift to ourselves. We can be grateful for the opportunity to give, to better ourselves and our environment without expectations.
